Gorgeous song. Yes, it's clearly influenced by John Lennon solo work such as "Mind Games" and "Imagine" but not to the point that he's overwhelmed by Lennon's influence imo. Popular music has been missing a keyboard based singer/songwriter of this quality for far too long. Lyrically, it's a great song of unrequited love.
