Can anyone address the question of how/why these lyrics were so heavily edited/extended vs. the original Jackson Browne version? Reading the writing credits for this song and seeing 3 writers I'd never heard of was a weird experience, since I'm a Browne fan from way back. No knock on Campbell and friends, as Glen was as fine a country/pop singer as I've heard, and an original voice in that category of music. Just weird to see 3 new names and no reference to Browne at all. So, any insights? Thanks for thinkin' about it, anyway.
