I think the meaning of the song is pretty straight forward, but of course, I'm not lyrical genius so I'm not 100% sure. Anyways, it seems obvious that Chelsea Grin is a anti Christian band, judging by song titles, lyrics, videos etc. I believe that this song portrays there beliefs directly. The first section of the song;

Angels shall sin Demons shall pray They came for our voice and took it away Our silent screams, Our silent goodbye They took our hope They took our freedom, wrapped us in chains They took our hope They took our freed

This section basically states that the when the Christianity controls people, it takes away hope and limits there freedom of speech. I could also mean that Christians are not allowed to create their own beliefs, which forces them into a state of internal frustration which can't be released. Hence "our silent screams, our silent goodbye"

I don't want to be you I don't want to see you You say you're close to God I'd really like to meet him I don't want to be you I don't want to see you I'm tired of all the shame

In this part, Chelsea Grin is displaying their anger towards Christian brainwashers or church authorities (most likely not followers, since they sorta showed sympathy and sadness towards them in the first section... Sorta). They are challenging these people and asking if they have proof that God actually exists, and if they have the rights to brainwash their followers. They ask this by requestion proof of God's existence:

You say you're close to God I'd really like to meet him

In conclusion, I think this song is about Christianity, and how it is destroying the Christian followers lives. They also display anger towards people who are "brainwashing" the followers. This is just a hypothesis, I would love to hear other people's opinions.
