What I believe, the song meaning basically explains my current situation right now:
Easiest way for me to explain is imaging a relationship, both mid twenties, with someone; let's just PRETEND a girl that is confused with life and a boy that is insecure about everything ranging from himself, work, his girlfriend, etc.
Also it could be the opposite/same gender, any age, or color. Humans are human, no matter what or how we live. Almost every human progresses information the same even if you don't we're all the same Just don't hate on someone because "you're bored or think you're better than them"
You're not, at all. *
It's toxic from the start because both don't understand how friendship or boundaries work and understand how they are very important to the relationship:
The guy is insecure because of something that has happened in the past which he doesn't know how to fix, usually family issues when younger or just regular stress honestly.
The girl is already having overwhelming feelings just because of college or work and has a lot of trouble focusing on anyone, especially her boyfriend; that needs the most attention of all.
Boy either cheats or distance himself
Girl is already upset about stress, feels alone but doesn't know how to fix it. Finds out boyfriend messed up or she did so she moves on.
Boy regrets the insecurities or mistakes he made and realizes that he lost someone that actually cared for him and just needed help with herself but he never pictured her to actually think breaking up was a thought.
He makes statements that focus on trying to make the other person feel bad.
Example: boy: "why don't you want to do this or why don't you care for me?" Girl: I care but I'm my own person and I'll focus on me." Boy: screams*
BASICALLY!!!!! The whole thing is about getting out of a relationship, she gets cheated on, lied too, and stalked by old boy-ex just to go find her perfect person by accident.
She never wants to date again
Basically become best friends and click with a new guy after saying you would never love again.
You feel for the new guy like you never felt before, he is a new drug.
This is a long and confusing post
I tried
It's a good song
