For me, this song is a tribute to a personal journey - for a mother who has given me days of laughter, hysteria, family holidays, dance moves, classical music influence, ethics, mother/daughter dinners, movies, culinary fun, discipline with "that look" :-) and a complete understanding of what it means to be a "best friend" and now who I'm losing to vascular dementia - taking a final journey I cannot experience with her but will be with and honoured to nurse until the end.
