The Perfectionist decides he is going to invite his friends to a grand celebration where he wows them with great food and conversation. At the end of the meal he will serve them a poisoned wine. His idea is that now that they have experienced his idea of "perfection" in the form of a fantastic meal and celebration, they can go to their graves with the best impression of him and he no longer has to worry about how they will perceive him.
