Id think it was like a folk song about Mexican laborer, except that the address of the Jack white hub is down in the Lazaretto. Ok, Third Man Records is in the Mexican neighborhood in Detroit. Lazaretto is little (male) Lazarus. The Phoenix rises from the ashes in an image of the resurrection. But the true images do have diabolic opposites.
Amusing that God is called She, and women in this album have become tyrants. What happened to equality? A brief stop on the way to Feminine superiority? O perhaps they must now show that wicked witches are equally tyrants.
