I believe this song is about someone who has been away or at least no longer in a relationship with someone and wants back in their place. The "tantrums and the chilling chats" convey they are quite a troubled/maybe dangerous person. They are asking to stay with that someone again promising they won't run away, even "if the ship is wrecked" which pretty much says even if there's no "relationship", they will still be there. The song sounds like a desperate plea from a desperate person for a place to live. I mean "even when you lock me out" may seem figurative to some, but I feel it's literally meaning when he/she comes home late/drunk/stoned they won't leave just because they got locked out. They're begging for a place.
