i always thought the title "song meanings" was a pretty bold statement for a website to let just any asshole post what they THINK the song means....and now this asshole is about to do the same.
i'm reading it completely different from most of the commenters cause i feel like i've been in this situation with my most recent ex. and it wasn't as dramatic as poor milo's situation, cause mine wasn't a drunk, she was a pothead, that basically kept herself high, i feel to make being with me more tolerable. she was done with the relationship long before it eventually ended, but never had the balls just to end it...I don't think the girl committed suicide cause there in the last lines about his anger in all her fun, he stopped caring before she started to cry. and that statement rings true cause when you're in a relationship where the feelings aren't 50/50 but the one that doesn't have as strong feelings as the other doesn't just nut up and end it you got a person trying and trying til they just resent them and say "fuck it"
@goobertron84 I guess that is the beauty of music ... the meaning to each of us can be very different to what the artist intended (or what it meant to them). So yeah song meanings is very broad ... but I think it is great that we each can say our piece, no matter how good or bad it may be!
