I like this, but I guess even after reading the other comments I still have a question. I get that his love is impossibly deep for her, but after the journey the song takes you on, he's still pleading that she won't "let" go. Is this simply his insecurity?

Could also be that perhaps he was in a "dark" place before this relationship, and he doesn't know how to function without her (she saved him). My wife pretty much did this to me, but I am not insecure about her leaving. But not all have such a relationship with their partner I guess :)
