Totally agree. Randy wouldn't necessarily write a song like this without something lurking under the surface. When women sing it, it kind of loses that sleezy undercurrent. However, as sung by Randy, the character is telling his friend (or someone) about this emotionally damaged girl who he is taking advantage of for sex. One should hear the narrator and wonder why he is boasting to his listener about this. Sure, the song can be played totally straight, but it is much more effective with the second layer lurking beneath.
