This one in particular I think it just kind of a meta commentary on how disheartening and crushingly awful life for a lot of people on this planet can be - the ones that feel like God or whatever that word represents has forgotten about them - "All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us."...

I'm not entirely sure what the "The Messiah showed up high on heroin" line is supposed to represent. Maybe that their savior is useless or maybe it's just a reference to the massive Opioid epidemic in the poor neglected part of the planet that this song is about.
