This song is all about people propping themselves up to appear a certain way and then just calling them out on their BS. Saying one thing and doing another, or going against your original word.

Ragoo is a reference to Ragu brand sauce. Real ragu sauce is made from scratch but Ragu brand is canned and made to appear legit...even though its not: this is why they call the song Ragoo. They spelled it wrong to point out that they can see through everyone's bullshit including their own.

1st verse: is about wanting to take over the world with their music until fans are kicking down the door...but then they really wouldn't care if they don't see it all and he's just fine with the success he's already had (we had a ball).

2nd verse: Kids on the street acting like they know it all but won't listen to him because he's too old to tell them how it really is. Stubborn teenage mentality etc. They appear to know everything but don't have the life experience to back it up.

Chorus: He obviously got caught with his pants down having sex and lying about it.

3rd Verse: A military guy fighting for his country but not giving a damn about actual people in the country.

His dad owns a business and his worker (slave) wanted to join the military to fight for the country. So his worker did great at the war and returned back to and came into some lawsuit money (took em all to court). His dad then called and said "do you remember me" asking for some financial help...but obviously got none because he as to work awful hard in his factory.

Outro: The band sings together telling everyone they've only been running barefoot in the stream despite you thinking they've been all the way to the ocean.

Its all about hypocrisy.
