I get mixed feelings about this song. It says he wants to wait and take it slow with the girl he likes/loves but in other lyrics, it seems to reference sex.
@lovaofnovels9 - I cannot listen to the song the same way again if that's how my BFF's older brother feels about me, lol unless the interpretation is that like another commenter stated: 1) girl is traumatized by a bad relationship or bad relationship(s), 2) she is scared to trust and love again, 3) guy wants to take it slow, 4) guy loves girl and waits for her to open up to him, 5) they eventually have sex further along in the relationship. I really cannot tell by the mixed messages of this song, to be honest.

@stephoni ikr i feel the same way like he has the soft voice throughout the whole song but some lyrics are nice but others are kinda harsh
