I believe this song is entirely about heroin addiction.
My skin is cold. Talking about the cold sweats whilst experiencing withdrawals.
Transfusion with somebody. Sharing needles with someone.
Morose an old. Talking about being snappy, moody and feeling very old.
Drop into fruitless dying. Failing to achieve desired goals and results.
It was tempting and bared. He's referring to the temptation of the drug and how easy it was to gain possession.
The whoring Angel rising. Not 100% but could be referring to the needle (as it is sort of the shape of an angel.)
Now burning prayers. Living with Regret.
My silent time of losing. Talking about becoming an addict and battling depression by himself.
My foes, they can't destroy my body. My enemy, "heroin" possibly or "the media" or both can't destroy me. PHIL always spoke of staying true to metal and not letting the media impact the band in any way. He also spoke about being able to function properly on heroin, so possibly two meanings.
Colliding slow, like life itself. He's slowly detiorating into a spiral of drug abuse, and it's slowly taking toll, slow also could refer to the time spent staring at the clock waiting for his next fix. Life is slow waiting for drugs.
@Joeliefisho92
Long for the blur, we cannot dry much longer. Longing to get high and can't suffer the withdrawals much longer.
Cement to dirt, disgusted with my cheapness. Talking about going from strong minded to a weak addict and being ashamed about it.
Reaching down, starring up at the forgiver. Referring to being a victim of heroin, going to hell but looking up at heaven wanting help or forgiveness... Basically giving up on himself...

@Joeliefisho92 I think the line "Transfusion with somebody morose and old" is referring to how when he wakes up with his bones cold and achy until he gets his first fix of the day, that its changing him into an old man temporarily; since the old person arthritis type symptoms share major similarities.

@Joeliefisho92 Also, I think the "Whoring Angel rising" is referring to the drug itself since it used to mask the back pain and let him continue being superman on stage for a time. But the drug doesn't discriminate and puts out for anyone who asks, which is why its a whoring angel. After a while, this stops working as well as it did initially and turns into a crutch, from an angel into burning prayers.

But that's just my opinion...
