"Tides of glass, return to ash. In the dawn, we follow the path away from the sun. Shadows cast in wake of the past. Reaching out, into the dark and out of the light."

Is this referring to the theme of moving on? Moving out of the light of day might mean something like.. not being ready to face the truth, being too comfortable in the past, in the dark? "Tides of glass, return to ash", might mean tides as in waves of emotion/change, going from something reflective and sharp (glass is able to cut you), burning away to ash, which is soft and harmless after the fire. Burning the past away?

"Crawling underneath our feet, A river running black and green From the heart of the gallows tree, Where the future and our fate Will bleed into the world below."

Is this black and green river the 'world below'?. Seems like a nice symbolism of the underworld. And the gallows tree is a tree where people are hanged isnt it? So that makes sense.

"Stone to bear the mountain stairs. In the night, we dance with our devils and dine with the snakes. The dead will stare in joy and despair Rising up, away from the earth, into the clouds."

So they've gone away from the light of day, sheltering in the mountains where at night they relive the past again, dance with their devils and dine with the snakes, meaning they embrace the evil at night, and this is what theyre comfortable doing. The dead watch over them, with mixed feelings as they move on to the heavens.

"From the eye of the Graeae we stole, A truth that we can’t unknow. Spinning on the threads they sew In a river of the tears that flow into the world below."

So instead of facing the truth, they stole it from the Graeae, that mythical creature. So then they accidently found another way into that river of the underworld? when they were trying to avoid it maybe? fate still lead them there. Spinning on the threads might mean, they are just puppets to the higher forces, like the Graeae, and cant actually control their life now that the stole the truth.

"Over, under, threads of fate. Weaving patterns, soon and late. As in this life, so in all things The end result, the action brings."

So its talking about the choices we make leading us to our eventual fate, even if we avoid it, it will come sooner or later.

"The fates will divide in three. A sight that we can’t unsee. We’re falling to our hands and knees As the past and the future bleed into the world below."

They can't control their lives anymore, the Divide in three means past, present, future. It's all come together, their past is gone, the present theyve reached and their fate/future is ahead. They fall to their hands and knees as they cant stand up against it anymore.
