For example, the Christian Church today's main teaching is that God required punishment for sin, and Jesus took all our punishment for all our sin. In what just and fair court do the innocent get punished and the guilty go free. His is just and the concept of Vicarious Sacrifice is in no way just. Finding the writings of George MacDonald and in particular his sermon called "Justice" and the one called "Righteousness" have helped me to see through the smoke of what I consider a false teaching if the church today. I desire to follow my Lord Jesus and his Ways and not what I consider the mis-guidings of the church today.
