I think the last line of the verse is actually slightly wrong: I think it's:
'No I'm getting kinda rich on the SIGHT of any soul alive'.
Again in the first verse: I don't give a damn about the castle on the hill,
OR the gold that we could eat, or the horse you had for sale.
He's referencing the difference between those who put all their hopes in material things ('castles on hills', owning horses, etc...). Referencing the fact that you can't eat gold. All he needs to see a person truly living, truly being alive.
I would agree with frojabotta about the 'hearing' not 'seeing' the Mona Lisa, and the ability to wake up and live life to the full.
