I have a personal reason to put this meaning forth. But imo it's about a girl he loves and how she rejected him after so much together. He made mistakes but even though he repents them, she won't even give him a second glance, making him look completely like a bad guy when she's done bad too. Now she's gone and broke their swears and he's been trying but now he's getting tired of it. But at the same time, he just can't move on, even if he's given his all to do so.
