To me, this song sounds like it is talking about the people it would effect. Sure. It would be extremely perilous, and thankfully nothing like the such has happened to me, but you can't keep clamming up because of it. I'm probably going to sound extremely assholey, but they made the decision. Not you. So you need to let it go. I accept it would be extremely hard to do so, but there's nothing more you can do.
