I agree about the above, I feel like Loudon is really crying for help in this. That despite touring and having fans and performing, that his life is so empty. In the live version when he sings "when you kissed me in the club you bit my tongue" the audience laughs, but you as a viewer know that it really isn't the reaction he wants. It's a feeling of helplessness.
