To be completely honest I've always loved this song ever since it first came out maybe I haven't been completely connected with One Direction through all my years that I have known them but this song has always been one of my favorite ones.

I'm pretty sure that you guys know this but this song is a romantic song and it basically shows and is talking about how a guy has just woke up with a girl in his bed. Maybe they messed around the night before and or just fell asleep, but either way he's the first one to wake up and he wants to show how much he loves her but doesn't want to be all sappy with it. So he tries to act cool, but also show her how much she loves her.
I feel like the song has a really sweet and genuine feeling about a budding romance and it's just mainly exactly about that. A budding romance. It's probably his first time and he just wants to make sure he can keep her without acting all romantic even though he wants to.
