So the song sounds like a love song, like she is saying to her boyfriend: glamour is nothing with out you.

But I think she has a whole different message. A very good and authentic message that many people will miss. And perhaps she planned it this way.

She is calling out to both her boyfriend and to those who glamourize her. She is saying she feels life was stolen from her. She talks about being fake or about her peers being fake (others in the spotlight.) “I even think I found God ..in the pretty cameras..." Then she goes on to say right after: " am I glamorous? Am I glamorous?" Like she didn't find God, not really. As in people will say what others want to hear as long as it sounds good. But it’s difficult, maybe not realistic to find God while living a life so "glamourous". Because when you are in the spotlight, you are always on alert, you have your attenas up. You would have to. And eventually, you lose yourself. I guess you 'could' be authentic, but you would break or injure your career. "I can be your china doll, if you want to see me fall” China dolls are fragile or in other words, vulnerable. She can't be. But actually she can - just through 'hidden' messages in her music. ;)

Her boyfriend, who she knew before the fame and she finds "dope" ... she loves authentically. This scares her. She says to him "your love is deadly." Because to her, he is the only real thing in her life now. If she lost him, she feels she would lose herself. Because perhaps, she doesn't live a daily life true to herself or at least in the public eye.

"They think that I have it all ...tell me am I glamourous? Ccan you hear me?" In other words, 'no, it's not what you think it is.'
