I am TOTALLY in love with this song. It means that the singer, the protagonist in the song, will drink to just about anything except their ex-lover because they simply aren't worth the whiskey. They're not worth the taste, the cost or the feeling. I love the part of about the friends. It's like--if my ex's friends see me drunk, they should just understand that I'm not crying over my ex. They're not worth it.
