I completely agree that this song has to be about love. But this kind of love is different. Throughout the entire song this love is being labeled as either "this" or "it's". At the end of the first verses however a chorus comes in play and defines this as love. Clearly we realized this as the name of the song is This=Love. But that leaves us to figure out what is this love that they wrote about. My personal opinion is that love is the love of God.
