I've always wondered who's singing the song...don't think a father would say "I never doubted your love for a minute, I always thought that you would be true..."
Only a wronged lover would say that, yes...?
And the words " though you belong to another, etc..." who's saying that? Surely not the father?! Something here is very confusing to me...anyone have an explanation?
