This is obviously an uplifting song, the kind that you sing to someone who's been through a rough patch or had their spirit broken. One of Collective Soul's most underrated songs.
@Soundtallica I agree, I believe Collective Soul all together is underrated. So many ppl know and even really like some of their songs, and somehow have no clue who they are.. It's not like haven't been successful though, I was just pretty much saying I don't get it LOL. As for the uplifting part, I'd say you're right. My actual sister was going through a hard time, I sent her that song, and I was surprised how much it cheered her up and how she reacted.
