I'm afraid he's talking to God, his path to faith was poisoned... Maybe by a spiritual leader and he's chosing to turn to darkness. I also great that as we listen to these type of songs that we are chanting along or they Jesus FU with 2 middle fingers. But it could just be him expressing his inscurieties about his co- dependant nature. The bitch he was with really ripped his Hart out. And he knows he will never find true love and/or his faith. But at the same time it's good that some can make a decision to let that other person go and face The pain of it. And go and find out who you are, and who they really were vs who you thought they were. Comes down to self esteem when you believe that other person represents everything good about you. But what if the reality is they represent everything bad on your life, it's nice when toxic men leave good woman and she finds her life better later.... What ever it means, it's definitely a great song!
