Speaking as Siddhartha, the Buddha, this song is about the eightfold path that is used to achieve Nirvana. This can be justified in the song where it says "I won't eightfold now" and "I guess I'll wait in line for the next life."
Remember to live with the 4 noble truths and don't forget to live in moderation ;)
Buddha out
@siddharthag That's a keen insight, but the rest of the song doesn't really match with, especially considering the line is "I won't eightfold", there are other spiritual references like "holy shakes" and "glossolalia" which are Christian references. The album has quite a few spiritual references, I'd not be surprised to here that some of the band went to church at some point in their life.
