I am not sure what this song is about. Originally hearing the line Boundary and the manner in which it is sung gave me the impression it could have been about overcoming personal boundaries in life and pushing (references to abortion, lost my brother) seem to support this.
But then in other parts it sounds like they are singing about Aussie rules (boundary throw in). Which doesn't make much sense as the band is from New South Wales, where league is more prominent.
