Is well known that Dev suffers of bipolar disorder and that when entering the studio to record a new album here goes off his meds, therefore I take this one as a claim of what he undergoes in order to make an album, sort of a declaration of bravery!!!
@LexOmens something like that sounds plausible, as I think it could be interpreted as someone coming off a drug use (whether that is abuse or not is open to interpretation)

@sokorny definitely you have a point, although having that he is on lithium most of the time, I don't think it's about abuse....

@LexOmens artists don't always write simply about themselves though ... they tend to make their songs / art a little more open and relatable
