Caprice Lyrics

This is one of the most unusual Prong tracks there is, and I'm including the most recent album: X - No Absolutes. The guitar is almost completely mixed out, but with a super-overdriven buzz to it. It almost sounds like static in the background while the bass actually carries the main melody/riff. For a completely guitar based band, this is really strange. My perspective is completely tainted at this point, as Rude Awakening is easily the most listened to album in my collection, by far, and that's saying a LOT. That said, this song seems like it should have been a B-Side, not because it's not good, but because it's so strangely different from pretty much everything else Prong has done. Lyrically, the song seems to have somewhat of a theme of frustration with people's behavior (much like a lot of Prong lyrical content) but also has a stream-of-consciousness feel to it. It's a wonderful and strange song, nonetheless.
