I kinda thought that this was a sad song .. the first part tells of the story of Soon Yi and how she, despite being so quirky, found love. Someone who loves her for who she is, and who like her, wears his heart on his sleeve.
It is the last stanza that really moved me.
It sounded as tho the songwriter and his muse can't be together, and hence the lament about why does life seem so hard for dreamers for him and his muse, when love is everywhere..
