I listened to this after a breakup i initiated in a period neither of us really tried. My mind constantly went back to what i could of done differently to make it work and I also kept thinking about what if I never brought it up, would we still be together? Should I have waited to see if things got better? Listening to this song has given me a different perspective. Maybe the best thing to do is keep your mind occupied with different thoughts, move on and not look too closely. Accept that what happened, happened.

It's hard realizing that you don't really fit together after being together for a while and it hurts getting used not having that person there anymore so at first you might be in denial of the truth going over the things you could of done differently to make it work(looking too closely). But with time you'll see it was the right decision and if you didn't look to closely to begin with you would have prevented yourself that pain

Don't analyse your flaws in every detail even if it's what you did wrong in a relationship or just in general in life.
