I think this song is about depression and paranoia
My soul is running on a path i cannot reach
She cannot reach her dream or the thing she wants
The light is fading now, my force is being sucked, my fear is smiling
She cannot see the light, doesn't have a reason to continue and she fears everything
She's "blindofolded" and "cannot see anything" because of this thought in her mind that stops her from seeing the beautiful things in life
In the next part to be honest I hear I "COULD" see the birds, I could see them fly which means she cannot see the beautiful sky anymore nor the birds flying in it
I think "It's a battle cry" actually is "It's about to cry" . You know when you look at the sky it makes you happy because it's so blue and bright, but in her mind even the sky is dark and is about to cry.
"I don't know what to do... but I got to stay .." she wants to end this pain and leave this world so she can "float in space" but there are reasons he has to "stay" (perhaps because there is still a little hope left or because of her close ones)
