Referring to a statement that A LOT of addicts hear/make, sort of in response to the popular myth that just a one-time (the absolute first) use of any of the hardcore-illicit drugs immediately gets all of your love and adoration and turns you into a full-blown addict/junkie...so, you hear alot of addicts (past and/or present!) saying that the truth of the matter is this: the first time they ever did their drug of choice, they actually didn't get that intense, I'm-already-in-love-with-you-high (the 'high' they got the 2nd, 3rd, or whatever # did it for them!) that got them hooked and turned them into an addict, during their very first go-round w/their drug ofchoice bc they were too nervous/terrified to OD or whatever, had no clue what they were doing and/or how much they needed, etc, etc, etc...
