The Dead Dog (also known at times as the Borealis Beach Club) was a strip club/dive bar/liquor store along the Parks Hwy in Wasilla, AK where several of the members of the band grew up. It was positioned in an area with little police activity and lots of drug activity. Some locals always wondered what went on behind those walls but most were kind of afraid to find out due to it's less than stellar reputation. As most things go, the Dead Dog was a fine establishment which in fact was visited by people of all socioeconomic levels.
