I honestly love this song, I think it's one of their best yet.
The song is pretty much self-explanatory but 'History' is a song that is very personal to the boys and to their fans, as it talks about the past 5 years as a band and being with their fans every step of the way. With their impending hiatus coming up next year (2016), I feel like this song was written for the fans as a way of saying that even though it may seem like the end, it's really not and they will be back. Louis promised us they would be back and 'History' feels like a promise from all of the boys :) They're asking the fans to not give up or let go while they're on their break and just wait for them to come back and make lots of new memories!
