Is the river being used a metaphor for our life? To me this is what it is suggesting, or it could be taken more literally I suppose (describing the natural beauty and revere for a river).
Either way, I really love the music throughout this track ... has a more rock signature than many of their other tracks (esp. the riff around 3:45 minutes in).
The only line that really has me stumped though is "Gold on black" ... can't really understand that at all (or come up with any interpretation).
