Well I definately think its about the explosion in that remote Russian forest in 1908, but I think John might be challenging the conventional explanations for the event, namely the meteor. I mean a crator was never found... Or maybe he's using our helplessness in explains the event to illustrate our helplessness in explaining our origins or our ultimate destiny..
