It's hard to tell what exactly this song means, but...
There are frequent mentions of visions and seeing things. "Take a look at me", "Take a look around", "You see the words". Surveillance and infrared are mentioned aswell. The lyrical subject here is also throwing accusations at someone - "You've ruined what we had" etc.
That being said, this song is about somebody who is able to see and understand way more than the person he's talking to. That person could have probably been someone very important for him, but ruined the relationship between them so now he is left alone with his point of view. He realized that the machine (governments etc.) controls everybody with the usage of modern technology, often in such a way, that nobody would notice (therefore - infrared - related to technology and also infrared waves cannot be seen) except for him. He is a rebel and his goal is to finally find freedom ("The Templar Flame" would represent this freedom) and he encourages people to see his message and raise their voice ("Speak of the flame").
