This song is beautiful, heartbreaking and so underrated. Mary Lambert is an amazing performer, enough people don't appreciate it. Sometimes, with a lot of songs, you can't exactly tell what it's about or how the singer is supposed to feel, because it's so subtle. But Mary Lambert is so direct and upfront about her feelings, which I love, because it makes her performance so much more believable and real. And that's not an easy thing to do, to reveal how vulnerable you are.
