I've always loved this song and I never thought about the lyrics beyond "je t'aime" until...it hit me. This song just screams incest. Boom. Mirror shattered. I mean, think about it, "je t'ai volé le sang qu'on (n')aurait pas dû partager" or for you non-francophones, "I stole from you the blood that we shouldn't have shared". she also compares her boyfriend (or girlfriend, idk) to a mother and says that she confided in him/her all her secrets--even those only a brother should be the unavowed guardian of. Then she says, that in that stone house, Satan was watching them dancing. Now, this could be interpreted as her just saying the relationship was a mistake, etc. Or it could be interpreted a...different way. Anyways, that's how I interpret this song and it's very disturbing, particularly because I've been listening to this song for years and never had that interpretation until one day that was the only interpretation I had.
