I think this song is about being so deeply in love with someone who hurts you constantly but you still always go back to them. The love between the two of you is so strong even though you both may not be good for each other. the person has scarred her before and she's trying to bleach out the hurt. You can run away from him or try to forget him but in the end you still find yourself crawling back to them, even though you're tired of it. You can't help it. You question the love you feel for them, how much, how deep and realize it's your whole heart , while tried and tested its yours. You'll never learn...
