I hate to be the one to point out the most obvious lyric in the song, but "Death inspires me like a dog inspires a rabbit," means "Death scares me so much that it startles me into action."

@curiazadeh I thought it was obvious too... there is a sport in Europe called "coursing" and basically you release a hare (rabbit) and the dogs chase it to kill it. People place bets on if the rabbit will be caught or get away. Needless to say, the rabbit is very inspired by the dogs :)
