My view is that this song is either about sex or uses sex as a metaphor for something else, maybe drugs or a particular thought process towards which Devin feels revulsion.
I think that the 'boom boom' is the childish reference to sex, which seems out there until you factor in the 'night sounds', 'the boredom of monogomy', the 'well soiled', the 'bound to amalgamate', it seems like it could be a sexually related thing. Not to way overstep the lyrical content, but it could have been an affair, a partner cheating, or any number of things. The 'no one fucks with me' and 'no one must know' shift exact meanings under each scenario.
Knowing Strapping though, it's probably more of an extended metaphor scenario about drugs or a general worldview.
@saintandcynic Devin spoke in his podcast about this being a song about his experiences of getting sexually abused as a child so yeah, "boom boom" probably means that and it gives pretty dark undertones to those "no one fucks with me" and "no one must know" screams.
