I'm not entirely sure of this song but it's very pretty. I'm guessing that this song is about a girl who had a crush on a boy but it didn't work. It wasn't a very major thing because they were too young to have something very serious but their time still meant something. This may be when she's trying to get over him. She knows that they were too young to love and that they just threw that word around but it did mean something. Then she wonders if someday she will be happy and be 'something more' in the future. This is when she feels terrible after the split and feels stupid and worthless. He may have lied to her a few times and she's saying that you don't lie the way he did. Another point is that she is willing to let him keep her heart in hopes that someday he will hope that they will get back together. She's willing to wait for him until everything turns to ashes and there's nothing left. This is just my interpretation and I don't even know if it's right but...can an interpretation be right or wrong? I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
