I love this song. It's about the battle with depression. Not talking your rainy day run of the mill depression but serious, down in a hole, can't see out of, depression, and how we should deal with it. There's almost a "pull yourself, literally, out of the hole and realize that whatever it is that's bothering you, you can overcome.
