i beleive that hes righting to him self. his former heroin addict. as an addict hell do anything to feed that part of himself. break promises, freind ships, and eventually the trust you have in your own self. please just listen to the song with this possibility in mind.
Im a recovering heroin addict trying to detox of methadone and have not cared much for any music for a long time but this song hellped me get to where i am today. right now is the first time in years that im starting to feel true emotion, pain and love. its all apoart of life that heroin takes away.
thats what this song means to me, and regardless of its true meaning has hellped me.

I love your interpretation of the song and think you're pretty much bang on, the only part I think you're missing the mark on is the chorus. I think the chorus is talking about someone who's close to you and care's about you who can see straight through your bullshit excuses and see the truth. Could also be he's talking about seeing himself truly....
