I just heard this song for the first time and it brought me to tears… I was in an emotionally abusive marriage and my sister helped me get out of it and now she is in the same situation and it breaks my heart because she doesn't want to give up on it but I can't stand to see her so miserable. I'm helpless to do anything because it has to be her decision just like it had to be mine.
